Adjustments are made with the rifle setting in the top unlike other rests that have to be disassembled to reach the counter balance adjustments. The weight of your rifle is counter balanced by externally adjustable set screws. The included bench studs come with a set of rubber bottomed stabilfeet bases made by Benchrite. The optional sand feet are of the bell shaped or Phoenix design with treaded studs locked into the foot so they cannot come unscrewed like other designs can. There is no lubrication or maintenance required on my mechanism. There are a couple thumb screws to add friction if you desire. The horizontal/vertical assembly, or X-Y block moves on 6 double sealed ball bushings that travel on hardened shafts for effortless movement. The wider field of view is a great help when shooting in a condition that is switching and you want to look at targets on either side. The horizontal range of movement is roughly twice that of any other joystick operated rest. Once adjusted you merely pull back on the drive tool and remove it or just leave it engaged and set it on your shooting mat out of the way. The long drive shaft utilizes a T handle on the shooters side and a quick coupling adapter on the rest side. Also, there is no need to lock the bridge as there is an adjustable clutch to hold the vertical position. Precise friction free cross hair placement is very easy to accomplish with this design. Precisely dial your vertical to the center of your target with the joy stick at the exact height you prefer. This system allows you to stay in shooting position while adjusting the vertical placement of your crosshairs. My design utilizes a rack and pinion with a long drive tool for adjusting the height of the bridge while staying behind the rifle and looking through the scope. The bridge travels up and down on double sealed ball bushing on 1” hardened shafts. The new modular joystick with removable extensions is the same design as the Raptor uses and has replicable extensions for different rifle lengths. (a drop-down box selection when ordering) We now offer the Edgewood 3” standard, 3” reinforced, and 4” versions in regular Cordura, sold separately. You will enjoy consistent friction or breakaway under any condition. My bottom sand rails toggle front to back and cannot settle unevenly. Choose from the drop-down box to select F-Class legal (default) or combination felt/rollers or full IBS legal top that accepts one pc sand bags. There are several options for the top blocks. This innovative new top rotates independently of the base plate so no matter how the rest is set on the line you only need to move your rear bag to pan across the row of targets with no binding, keeping the breakaway consistent. My rest features the Rodzilla 5-Axis top. **Factory Class – Rifles from manufactures producing 5,000 or more rifles per year. The new, (all aluminum) T-Rex has a similar footprint to the SEB MAX, measuring 12.5” wide X 11.25” front to back.
